The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has established guidelines and performance standards to control the discharge of pollutants from construction sites.
There are a myriad of training opportunities to help you meet your requirements:
Erosion Control Training
The Keep it Clean Partnership provides an erosion control training program available for both public and private inspectors and contractors.
Red Rock Community College (CETC 150 & 151)
Classes in erosion control, stormwater management plan development, dewatering, waterway BMPs and permanent BMP maintenance.
Associated General Contractors
The one day course providing the compliance resources and understanding of the tools and methods available to achieve compliance with stormwater regulations.
CDOT
FREE class provides hands-on field exercises installing construction site BMPs.
