CLASSROOM PROGRAMS (GRADES K-5)

  • Creek Critters – PUPPET SHOW
    (Grades: K-3) 30 minute program

    Our classroom favorite for groups of 50 or larger. Join Jasmine and a lively cast of characters on their adventures to learn why clean water is critical to wildlife and people. Students will discover how they can help keep our water healthy.

  • Home Sweet Habitat
    (Grades K-2) 30 minute program

    Plants and animals play a key role in and around our local waterways. Students will observe and describe various components of a riparian ecosystem and will learn about local plants and animals that rely on clean water for survival.

  • Rain, Rain Go Away?
    (Grades K-5) 50 minute (30 minute for K-2)

    Gather around an interactive model to discover the journey rain takes in an urban environment. Students discover how people impact waterways in an urban environment. They observe how water pollution occurs, identify typical urban contaminants, and understand their part in preventing stormwater pollution.

  • Water Cycle Program – All the Water in the World
    (Grades 4-5) 50 minutes

    How does water cycle through the environment? How much of our Earth’s surface is covered by water? How much of this water is usable for human consumption? Discover all of this in a 45-minute interactive exploration

  • Watershed In Your Hand
    (Grades 4-5) 50 minutes

    A watershed is an area of land that drains into a stream or lake. Everyone lives in a watershed, and most of us live near a stream. In this classroom activity, students create a miniature watershed and learn about the basic geography of a watershed, how water flows through the system, and the impact people have on water quality.
