Scouts Making a Difference
Get out, get wet, have fun and make a difference in your local waterway!
The Keep It Clean Partnership works with StreamTeam volunteers in Boulder, Boulder County, Erie, Longmont, Louisville, Lafayette, and Superior. Involve your scout troop in an ongoing community water stewardship project. Become a StreamTeam by committing to a few actions each year, and you will be on your way to maintaining and improving your local waterway!
Earn the Wonder of Water Journey Award
StreamTeam activities thatĀ will helpĀ scouts complete their Wonder of Water Journey Award requirements include:
- Creek clean-ups
- Storm drain marking
- Water quality monitoring
- Any other activity that supports clean and healthy waterways!
Support for our StreamTeams:
Our water education staff can provide an introductory lesson to help get your Troop started.
We offer:
- Hands-on and interactive educational programs
- Water education resources and curricula for Troop leaders
- All guidance, support, and materials for clean-ups and storm drain marking
