Installing a rain barrel is a small change that can make a big difference, providing up to hundreds of extra gallons of water each year you can use to water your grass, flowers, and trees. Collecting rainwater and putting it to use in your yard “slows the flow” of water, keeping it from becoming stormwater runoff that can pick up pollutants as it flows towards storm drains.
