Sustainable Runoff Solutions (SRS) provides the specialized services to keep stormwater control measures functioning and compliant over their lifecycle. Our engineers have extensive SCM design and construction experience, so we understand: 1) specific issues to look for during inspection 2) how the system was designed to function, and 3) how to track operational decline over time. We provide a range of services to effectively maintain these systems from inexpensive routine maintenance when possible, restorative maintenance when the function of the system is impeded and even reconstruction when the SCM is failing to function. Wright Water Engineers, Inc.

Work is overseen by a Professional Engineer with experience in design, inspection, and maintenance requirements of SCMs. Inspectors have Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control and/or Certified Inspector of Sediment and Erosion Control certifications. Four of WWE’s 5 CPESCs are also Professional Engineers. WWE also has several Certified Floodplain Managers (CFMs) which may provide useful advice related to regulatory requirements for repairing or maintaining SCMs in floodplains. One of WWE’s most unique qualifications is that Dr. Andrew Earles, P.E., CPESC and Jane Clary, LEED AP, CPESC recently led a project team that updated Chapter 4 MHFD’s Volume 3 which addresses SCMs. Andrew and Jane also assisted MHFD with development of their Construction BMP chapter and criteria. Because WWE has been deeply involved in developing criteria for SCMs for MHFD for over two decades, we have a unique understanding of the intent of the criteria.
